Peter J. Dawes

Peter J. Dawes leads Warrington International Inc., a consulting firm established in the mid-1970s to help Canadian and foreign companies expand internationally. With over fifty years in international business and trade, he has served in numerous senior board and advisory roles across the public and private sectors.
He is a past president of the Belgian Canadian Chamber of Commerce and a past chairman of the Canada-Indonesia Business Council. He has directed a mining company and founded UTEX Scientific Instruments in Mississauga. He received Ontario’s Volunteer Award for his community service and has published extensively on international trade in Canadian and US publications.
Peter is Honorary Consul of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Toronto, a thirty-year tenure that makes him the longest serving member of the Toronto Consular Corps.
